This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and function of which are explained below
Transientcookies

Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. This includes in particular the session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which various browser requests can be assigned to the shared session. This will allow your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.
Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.
You can configure your browser settings according to your wishes, for example so that your browser refuses to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website.
The Flash cookies used are not recorded by your browser, but by your Flash plug-in. Furthermore we use HTML5 storage objects, which are stored on your end device. These objects store the required data independently of your browser and do not have an automatic expiry date. If you do not want Flash cookies to be processed, you will need to install an appropriate add-on, such as "Better Privacy" for Mozilla Firefox or the "Flash Cookie Killer" for Google Chrome. You can prevent the use of HTML5 storage objects by using private mode in your browser. We also recommend that you regularly delete your cookies and your browser history manually.
As a responsible company, we refrain from using automatic decision-making or profiling.
3. Further functions and offers of our website
In addition to the purely informative use of our website, we offer various services that can be used if you the user are interested. As a rule, you must then provide further personal data that we use to provide the respective service and to which the aforementioned data processing principles apply. If you do not confirm your registration within the specified time frame, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. In addition, we store your IP addresses and the time of registration and confirmation. The purpose of the procedure is to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify any possible misuse of your personal data.
The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. After your confirmation, we will save your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) p 1 lit a GDPR.
You can withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. 5. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. We process your data on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest in producing easy-to-use website access statistics in a cost-effective manner (legal basis is Art 6 (1) lit f GDPR).
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address and the URLs of the websites accessed) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We do not store any of your data that is collected in connection with Google Analytics. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the United States, Google is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield.
This website uses the IP anonymization option offered by Google Analytics. Google will therefore shorten/anonymize your IP address as soon as Google receives your IP address. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other data by Google.
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting your information in connection with Google Analytics by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaopout?hl=en.
For more information on Google's Terms of Use and Google's Privacy Policy, please visit http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or https://www.google.at/intl/at/policies/.
This website uses the "demographic features" function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain information on the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-related advertising by Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person.
You can turn off this feature at any time from the ad settings in your Google Account.
This website also uses Google Analytics for a device-independent analysis of visitor flows, which is carried out via a user ID. You can deactivate the cross-device analysis of your usage in your customer account under "My data", "Personal data".
6. Integration of plug-ins for social networks
Our website uses buttons for the social networks:
Facebook Inc, 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, California 94304, United States
Twitter, Inc. 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, California 94043
The buttons are marked with the logo of the respective social network. However, these are not the usual social plug-ins, but buttons with stored links. The buttons must be activated (clicked) separately by you. As long as these buttons are not clicked, no data is transferred to the social networks. Only when you click on the buttons and thereby declare your consent to communication with the servers of the social network, do the buttons become active and the connection to the respective plug-in provider is established.
After being clicked on, each button acts as a so-called share plug-in. The data mentioned under point 2 of this declaration is transmitted to the social network and the respective plug-in provider is informed that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offer. If you want to "share" the information, you must be logged in. If you are not logged in, you will be taken to the login page of the social network you clicked on and you will no longer be on the pages of «Tabula Sense». Once you are logged in, the information will be sent that you would like to recommend the respective article.
By activating the button, personal data will be transferred from you to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (for US providers in the United States). The data is transferred regardless of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in there. Since the plug-in provider collects data mainly via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies before clicking on the greyed-out box using your browser's security settings. The plug-in providers will then also be informed of the fact that you have called up the corresponding page of our Internet presence and of the time that you did this, as well as other information e.g. your IP address, information on the browser used and the language settings.
We have no influence on the collected data and data processing processes, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data by the plug-in provider. The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as user, profiles and uses this for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation takes place in particular for the presentation of demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. Through the plug-ins, we offer you the possibility to interact with social networks and other users so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 (1) lit f GDPR.
We have integrated Vimeo videos into our online offer, which are stored on https://www.vimeo.com and can be played directly from our website. By visiting the website, Vimeo receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data mentioned under point 2 of this declaration is transmitted. This is independent of whether Vimeo provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged into Vimeo, your information will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on Vimeo, you must log out before activating the button. Vimeo stores your data as user profiles and uses it for purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such evaluation takes place in particular (even for not-logged-in use) to provide demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Vimeo to exercise this right.
The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the respective social network as well as your relevant rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the information provided.
